Anybody playing Takamo?

Any opinions or insights into the game would be appreciated.

Didnt that use to be a classic PBM ?

I was just browsing www.takamo.com and from the looks of it it's now
an onlinegame....or am I wrong ?

Very nice looking website but the latest update I could find dates back to Jan
6, 2000. The Dec, 1999 and Jan 2000 posts indicate that a bunch of updates
were pending and would 'soon' be announced.

Hmmm... methinks its abandoned. A shame...

No, actually a new game just started on Feb 1. In fact I thought it looked
interesting enough I started yesterday.

Have to some hunting in a few spots, but overall looks pretty good. I also
know a few other players that I think are going to start this week.

Takamo? Of *course* its not abandoned. They had a big ad in the most recent
Flagship, and are pretty active. If you email them, they'll reply within a day
or two.

Yes, they're definitely taking players.

We ran a review of TAKAMO in the last Flagship, and expect to be covering the
game some more: either in the next issue or the one after.

I'm doing research into the old Takamo game. Is there a chance I can get a copy of the Takamo review that ran in Flagship?
