As a new Wing is created in Arolos Weyr, Wingleaders look at each other uneasily. Everything is peaceful enough, there have been no disasters of late, but there's a feeling that something is about to go horribly wrong - but what? Is it that, when asked, each offered the dregs of their Wing? Is it lack of time to prepare before Thread falls? Is it simply that the new Wingleader isn't experienced enough to hold his Wing together when the Thread starts falling?
When you're fighting an enemy that can eat your arm off in seconds there's no time to make mistakes. It's only afterwards that anyone can ask "What went wrong here, and who's fault was it?"
If you're looking for a Weyr where Threadfall is played and plotted out, where there's room for your adult riders as well as your Candidates, and where there's scope for something to go horribly wrong, why not come and join us?
