A SMAUG MUD has been converted to HTML

The Lands of Aethar was a SMAUG MUD that ran from 1994 to 2009. It recently closed down, and I took the data files and used them to generate a frozen HTML snapshot of the entire world. You can explore it with any webclient. Each room and mob has its own unique URL, so you can easily put hyperlinks to anywhere in the universe.... more »
