Genestealer Cult; counts as?
|
| |
I've asked this question before some years ago with dubious results, so I'll ask it again given new versions and army books since then. What's the most appropriate way to use a Gene Cult in 5th edition? Base it on a 'nid list? Work from an IG list? I've previously used the WH list as this has arco flagellants which are somewhat similar to 'stealers while also... more »

A 1,000 Points of Thousand Sons
|
| |
While I'm aware that Thousand Sons definitely used to suck, and the Gav-dex clearly does suck, I figured that combining the two would result in so much suck that it would flip right back on round to awesome again. This would defnitely be a side-project army if I ever have money ever again, and would be a nice ringer army to play against the Tau force that will one... more »

[40k] Any rules for hybrids in Space Hulk?
|
| |
Just dug out my copy of Space Hulk after a move and thought I'd finally finish painting up all the bits, then I found another box of goodies and got to wondering: Has there ever been published rules for the use of hybrids (or in fact anything alien/nid other than pure strain genestealers) for the... more »

[UK] 1/32 WW2 Aircraft
|
| |
Just a quick heads up. If you have a "Quality Save" store nearby they are stocking some 1/32 model kits from the "21st Century Toy" range. It isn't the largest range (BF-109, AM6 Zero, F4U Corsair, Macchi C205 and JU87B/R Stuka) but is down to £1.99. I picked up 109 today on spec and was very impressed with the quality... more »

Out-Takes for May & June...
|
| |
Hello, Well, the Out-Takes for May were down right anemic, so I didn't bother posting them by themselves. (I was holding out for September - that's my story and I'm sticking with it.) ***** ...No, and no. I may be lying. ***** ...This is why a wise Chaos Commander will always sic a Dread on the... more »

Blood Bowl Jervis interview
|
| |
Gamespot interviewed Jervis: +++ GameSpot: It's been more than 20 years since you created Blood Bowl. Are you surprised that the board game is still popular today? Jervis Johnson: Surprised and delighted! I recently attended a 'World Cup' for Blood Bowl, where several hundred players from all corners of... more »

Strangest thing...
|
| |
If any of you checked out the photos I posted at picasa the other day, you prolly noticed a Leman Russ in the background. (Belongs to my son, I was repairing "Battle damage" that my grandson had inflicted. I got home from work yesterday; It's gone. ("Can we fix it?"... "It's GONE McCready..."). The dozer blade and a few road wheels are still there, but I can't find the... more »
