I noticed that most of the new artwork for Warhammer (not 40K) is done by
someone new. Please note that I'm reffering to the actual artwork NOT the
miniatures. Specifically I'm reffering to the person who has done the cover
of the Orc Codex and some others. It looks very similar to the work done for
Chronopia. Can someone tell me who this is? I'm trying to find more examples
of his work on the web but I don't know where to start. Name and possible
websites would be great. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

That would be Mr. Adrian Smith. He has indeed worked extensively with
Target Games on "Chronopia" and with GW naturally with "Warhammer Fantasy."
A comparison of WH40K and Chronopia also yields Phil Lewis, credited as
photographer in WH40K and as a sculptor on Warzone. Bob Naismith designed
minis for Warzone, he invented the original Space Marine design. I'm sure
the family tree of miniature games goes on and on besides these few
examples.

Adrian Smith, the excellent guitar player from Iron Maiden?! WOW *g* I
alway thought that he's "only" a guitar player :)

Thank you very much for that. I wish I could find some of his work online so
that I could use them as backgrounds for my computer but they (GW) doesn't
seem to want to celebrate his work very much. Everywhere I look I see
figures, figures and more figures but not an inch (read very little) of
artwork. I'm sure that GW pays him well but exposure is almost worth more
than money when it comes to artwork.
