My friends and I are planning an Apocalypse game for this coming
weekend since we all have off Monday for Memorial Day. Start on
Saturday and finish things up on Sunday. Probably 2 on 2 with Orks on
one side and Tyranids on the other with two still undetermined armies.
Might end up as large as 3 on 3 depending on who is available. We
tried Orks and Tyranids together last time, but their strengths and
weaknesses are too similar and got killed by a lot of tanks dropping
large templates.
I got some different glue and put together my Ork Tankbustas mob
yesterday since the glue I was using the first time wasn't working out
at all. Going to try to start painting the Stompa this week so its not
all grey plastic by Saturday.

Gaming related? Not much, just tried to drum up more entrants to the
competition running on my site at the moment by posting on a few sites (and
now a link gratuitously added to the reply:

Also did a lot more CSS work on the new Age of Strife web site, it's almost
ready for launch, just waiting on some inspiration to write some code for
Gallery version 2 to add in features they dropped from version 1 that I use

Apart from that, I managed to spend all day Saturday in a foul mood after a
crap week at work, then spent all day Sunday watching films with the wife
and downed a bottle of red wine (Hardy's Stamp Cabernet Sauvignon if
anyone's interested, although I'm pretty sure nobody is), went to bed late
and drunk (yes, 1 bottle - I'm a lightweight when it comes to alcohol
intake), and then came into work Monday and discovered that the company who
supports our main business systems (by support they take money from us and
then give most of it to Sage, and other than we rarely needed support
because the system rarely has issues I can't fix myself) lost their Sage
support contract to due massive debt and have gone bust, so now we're
looking for a new support partner.
