28mm Flexfeed would probably appeal only to a *very* narrow group.
But, something like 28mm pewter MMG belt ammo would be great.
Anyone wanting belt-fed weapons or bandoliers (CSM) would be
interested.

The incentive of pewter guitar strings?
Trying to get a steel guitar string to bend/lay naturally without
f'ing it up, only to have it move slightly and damage hours of
sculpting vs. the ever-submissive pewter ones?
Also, going into a music store with a micro-caliper is awkward.

I'd like to see belt-fed ammo in different calibers, so you can buy a strip
or two for your guys with bolters and one for your auto cannon.

strings -
Just go into that music store and ask for low E, A and D Classical
strings.
The envelopes conveniently have the diameter in thousandths printed on
them.
With these numbers, any hardware clerk can get you the exact bits
you'd need.
Classical cores are made out of meek, submissive nylon instead of
steel.
Even the windings are soft, silver-plated copper rather than nickel.
In short, *much* more manageable than Electric or Folk strings.
Plus, five bucks for a lifetime supply ain't bad . . .

Got them, but they still don't lay natural considering the tiny arcs
I'm working in on say, a 28mm guy with a gas mask tube going around
his body to a filter pack. The pewter ones make things so much easier.

problem there is that unlike bolters (mostly), autocannons seem to come in
wildly differing sizes, even within the same army range. compare the chaos
havoc autocannon with the predator kit, for example.
