Giving toys to sick kids in time for Christmas. Don't make me come over
there.
Good luck with that. I'm too strapped to do charity this year.

What he said. Obama's spending all my money.

At least you got to vote for your leader.
Hold on a sec: you're tempted to buy the dungeon floorplans off Ebay and
you're too strapped to spend a dollar and a half on a colouring book for a
children's hospital?
Shows how ignorant you are.
In the United States the President is elected by the Electoral College.
Bureaucrats decide who is President... we get to vote for which
Bureaucrat votes on our behalf but they are not bound by rule of law to
vote for who we want.

Guilt is a beautiful thing. Well played sir.
okay, i'll rephrase it for him:
"at least SOMEBODY voted for your leader."
his point still stands.
Thank you.
I've never had the moral high ground before. The view's not as good as I'd
hoped, and I think I'm getting altitude sickness.
Fair's fair, one man, one vote.
Tony Blair was the one man, he had the one vote.
Gordon Brown: living proof that you get promoted until you're incapable of
doing the job.
Oh, I knew all that.
We elected a majority of Labour MPs in the last general election, and their
party leader was Tony Blair, so he became Prime Minister.
He stepped aside in favour of Gordon Brown.
Nobody asked us what we thought of that.
We also have a European Parliament, which is elected via proportional
representation. This has lead to the BNP gaining 2 seats, including one in
the North West of England (where I live)
For those of you who don't know, the BNP are a fascist organisation who use
symbols like the Union Flag and Cross of St George, as well as the Spitfire
and Winston Churchill to promote their party. If I thought they knew what
ironic meant...
Imagine if the Klan somehow hijacked the Stars and Stripes into being their
symbol, so that you could no longer be proud of what it stood for?
"It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all
the others that have been tried."
- Winston Churchill
the BNP are just another bunch of despicable hypocritical shiteaters. the
only reason the media is knicker-twisting over their EP seats is because it
takes some negative attention away from the despicable hypocritical
shiteaters who happen to have more asses on benches in westminster. i
personally find the actual assumption of dictatorship in a supposed
first-world nation in the 21st century just as sickening as i find the BNP's
asinine rhetoric.

Shhh. You'll soon be under Sharia Law, with such petty concerns behind
you.
For years, I contributed via paycheck deduction "so United Way can
help sick kids".
Later investigation proved >90pct of UW's funding went toward
"administrative fees".
Only the tiniest fraction of my thousands in charity had actually made
it to any sick kids.
For "your money at work" photo ops, of course. Sound familiar?
Playa
Sharia law?
Buncha liberal hippies
We've got climate change, an unelected leader, a camera on every major
street corner, Government databases containing the details of every citizen
including the DNA profile and fingerprints of the innocent, laws against
protesting about anything, lazy media and corruption right to the top.

i said tempted... that doesn't mean i actually will. I'm tempted to do
alot of things that I never actually do because it gets to the part of
the program where I look at my checkbook and realize that it's
whatever I'm tempted to do vs being able to eat at work that week.
Besides... I took care of an immature bitch for 5 years and all I got
out of it was ruined finances and 5 years of my life that I'll never
fucking get back. I already took care of a child, someone else can get
these kids.
And yes... you can think I'm a bastard. I also tell the resident
begger that hangs out in front of the 7 Eleven across the stret from
my job "You know.. I'm one paycheck away from joining you, so you need
to quit asking me for money and keep that picnic table warm for me in
case i need it."
I call your bluff and raise you "Gore Vs George Bush"
> Shhh. You'll soon be under Sharia Law, with such petty concerns behind

i was gonna make a funny line about Sharia Law being instituted in
Britain would be the only thing that would make all of the Chavs stand
up and actually fight for their country...
then I remembered they're all half breed mongrels and probably
wouldn't mind that much...

The Supreme Court voted for George Bush. They're somebody.

sadly (and i can't understand it either), plenty of people DID actually vote
for George W Bush. if it hadn't been close enough, he could hardly have
pulled off the florida scam in the first place.
the point is that NOBODY-- not even his OWN POLITICAL PARTY-- held ANY kind
of vote on whether Gordon Brown should be prime minister of the UK, thus
turning an elective authoritarian dictatorship into an appointive
authoritarian dictatorship.
why the fuck are they allowed to get away with it?? i've lived here for 20
years on and off, and the sheer flaccid apathy and institutionalised lack of
self-respect in this country can STILL astonish me when shit like this
happens.
Remember the Poll Tax riots?
That's the last time I can remember the people of this country standing up
and saying "no."
How long ago was THAT?
What about soup? Do you have soup? A nice bit of soup is good on a cold
day.
yeah, i do actually
> How long ago was THAT?
1990, a couple years after i moved here. and they still got away with it.
and 19 years on, council tax payments continue to rise every fucking year,
while services continue to be cut back or terminated. the math don't quite
work out here.
Duck houses don't pay for themselves you know.
Seriously though, it does seem that councils do the same as the rest of us:
get to the end of the month and say "skint again... how did THAT happen?"
Is it possible to get to look at your local council's accounts?
See where it really does all go?
Freedom of information and all that crap?
BNP, bastards.
Abusing the cros of st george?
They should tie em to crosses and set fire to them.

Oh... damn.
Better hold the burning crosses.
just in the interests of pedantry: St George-- assuming he actually existed,
and was the same guy the church claims he was-- was also a self-martyring
lunatic who actively attempted to subvert the accepted moral and social
norms of his 'nation'. Griffin et al probably consider themselves quite
justified in identifying with him.

If those shaved apes heard the word "pedant" or "subvert" they'd assume it
was something to do with interfering with kids.
