Thats MR GEORDIE TWAT to you!! :P
I've known about that for months - all due to Ragnar stealing a pic off my
website, when I complained he started a hate campaign against me.
I've complained to Geocities but the fuckwits dont answer my emails.
I've just found out that Ragnar actually owns the UGW links website - no
wonder he gives the Realm of Inisfart such a high rating!!
Clearly that is the awnser, as no sane person would think that the Realm of
inisfart was anything more than a pile of cowpat.
Rob
I think that definitely puts him in the running for "Biggest Fuckwit" on the
internet. I'm starting to think we need to organize a "Best Sites" page of
our own. If I recall, he also sent a message to everyone in the 40K list
asking them to check out the "GW Top 100" site, and the link was actually a
vote for his site. This guy has personally attacked one of us and that right
is reserved for the members of the NG only. Some creative, subtle
retaliation is in order.

witty and amusing. But I doubt it.
Visit my new site, the 40k fiction E-Zine:

for some reason I went and complained to the owners about it. No reply,
so it must be Ragnar. He puts links to his site in Guestbooks, and
titles them Top 100 40k site.

Force him to watch "Pokémon: The First Movie" ... Twice! :-)
http://www.cnn.com/SHOWBIZ/Movies/9911/26/review.pokemon/index.html
Here's a short-short version for those who can't be bothered to read
the entire review:
The word "first" in the title should be taken as a harbinger of
horrors to come. [...] It was only a matter of time before this
scourge seeped into our movie theaters. [...] An indecipherable film
to accompany the indecipherable card game that's sucking up your
child's brain cells like a dollar-generated cranial whirlpool. [...]
"Pokémon: The First Movie" is a dose of extremely low-budget
"Japanimation" that -- were it only more proficiently executed --
would rival "Scooby Doo" as the most astounding work of art in the
20th century. [...] At 70 minutes, this is about as short as movies
get. As a torture session, though, it's pretty lengthy. [...] Theater
managers should hand out adult-size straitjackets the way they were
handing out barf bags for "The Blair Witch Project." [...] The
creatures fight each other, over and over again, until parents either
die of frustration or throw Cokes at the screen. [...] "Pokémon: The
First Movie" is offensive, although there's no nudity or bad language.
[...] Rated G, for "God help us."

We've got all of these childish little twits who just can't stand the
popularity of The Realm of Inisfail. They can't stand the fact that The
Realm gets 1500+ visitors a day while they get two. BTW, are you calling
Kaare Rud Flarup a cheat, or Simon Yeats, or James? I don't know any of
those people personally. They rate The Realm on top, because they consider
it THE BEST. I've been busy sending e-mails to ISPs and to website
providers. I have Geocities checking on that piece of trash and person or
persons who put it up or have anything to do with it will find themselves in

Of course we'll see it. We see it on the NG every day. I wonder how
much of the online 40K community saw Penisfail as well? I don't mean to
deflate your victory, but how many of those 1500 hits were just looking
for the spoof site? I found it a good deal more entertaining than the
real McCoy, but I have a questionable sense of humor.

No, actually we spend most of our time with our family and working on
the sites. Inisfail is POPULAR ENOUGH to get the hits. Just because
you guys are jealous of it doesn't give you the right to try to screw it
over.
The ones that are making these claims and whines are ones that have been
kicked off the 40k list for being anal retentives!
Quit your BS lies, Jimi. We don't even know the people who run UGWL,
much less own the site. You're just trying to start trouble again
because you got caught doing junk.
Thank you for your full confession. This message is being forwarded to
your ISP, as well as Geocities.
> Now THAT is interesting. . .

No, it's completely untrue. It's about as true AND interesting as
saying "Matt Sprange is the owner of GW Gateway, I just found out."
> for some reason I went and complained to the owners about it. No
reply,
> so it must be Ragnar. He puts links to his site in Guestbooks, and
> titles them Top 100 40k site.
I have never done that. That was someone trying to cause trouble for my
site by doing that and claiming it was me. I believe it was Jimi
Tub-of-lard, your circus' ringleader. The Realm of Inisfail does not
need to have people cheat to get it on top of the Top GW Sites, unlike
some other websites.
And it's the second best 40K site out there, according to UGWL, GW
Gateway, and Games Workshop. Now, do you want to claim I own GW Gateway
and Games Workshop as well now, or quit your little jealousy tantrums?
If you'll remember, Jimi, that's because YOU sent a FALSE REPORT to
Geocities claiming a pic was stolen off your site (and Geocities found
that hilarious), so they don't believe anything you send to them. We
don't have to start a hate campaign against you. You did that yourself,
when we told people about your harassment. Also, you did that to
yourself when you stole the playlists, then publicly posted them,
forcing GW to shut down out-of-house playtesting.
Two things here. First, Jimi can't go to court because nothing was
stolen, Geocities even helped prove that. Second, Geocities is not
allowed to give out personal information to anyone without permission.
I would if I had a link to his site
Ooh, it's Ragnar! Look out guys, or he'll give all your sites a really
crap rating and then claim you stole stuff off him.
Isn't it time you got back to your job as head fluffer on the 40K list?

It's your attitude more than anything. Inisfail is a page like alot of
others, nothing more. I've seen better and I've seen worse*, but it isn't
like it's anything that has a bearing on the real world. You and a few
other site maintainers may love it, but that doesn't mean that everyone
else does, or that you become the ultimate authority on what constitutes a
good web page.

See? Flames about maturity, we do nothing for the hobby, blah blah. You
sound like a stuck up putz. There are plenty of people here who put in the
time and the effort for the hobby, but not everyone chooses to do it by
writing a web page.
I don't have the time or the inclination to design and maintain a serious
website, but I'll still help organise conventions, run comps, and show
people how to play games. That's what's going to help the hobby - getting
more people exposed to gaming, not just catering to people who are already
gamers, since they're already involved.

Of course, you can always just blame all this on rgmw being a bunch of
whiny beards, who aren't serious gamers anyway. It's always worked for
everyone else when they disagree with us.

Exactly. If I was a better hacker I could do it (anything is better than nothing). Besides, I don't need to hack
things when the rest of the world can do it for me.

My own opinion, not that it matters much since all the sides seem
to have been taken already in this little tiff, is that Setzer seems to
do a great deal of self-promotion, and that is his business. He does
it to push his hobby and to get a maximum of people to appreciate
the work that goes into his (and his friends') sites. I see nothing
wrong with this.
What I do have a problem with is his inability to take criticism, and
his nigh-cold-war-esque belief that the first amendment was clearly
in error. For his utterly anti-speech and anti-discussion ways
(regardless
of whatever country he is from or in), he gains a special spot in my own
little world of lists: plonk.
I have for a long time not minded Ragnar's talk, and believed a
lot of good actually came from his opinions and his website. At
this point in my personal and ethical development, however, I can
no longer bother myself nor continue to support him by paying attention.
I have removed Isinfail from my website links, and simply won't continue
to support-by-silence his ways. I apologize in advance to those who
care.
This is not to say, conversely, that I believe Jimi is the most
wonderful
chap in the universe, as I have my own disagreements in personal
ethos with him. The difference is that even a cad as generally
abrasive and disagreeable as Jimi doesn't go out of his way to either
shove things down people's throat, or to get personal when he doesn't
have it his way. This is why I generally support his existence though
generally not his beliefs or opinions.

Reported?? On what grounds, Mr Thief??
Got proof that I 'stole' the playtest codexes?? I was sent them by a GW
staffer from Australia. The same guy got the sack for sending them to
people.
Get your facts straight before opening you mouth, dumb-ass!!
You do that, and when you find it isnt me then you can apologise to me for
saying it was me.
Jimi, not holding his breath waiting for the apology
And what do you do when some low-life thief steals info off your site??
Simon Dyson would like to know since you stole his Chapter Approved stuff.
Jimi
Of course, none of us here have seen that evidence, which I'm sure isn't all
that heavy due to the nature of the 'net. If you can prove it, prove it here
and we'll all shut up. But you'll be going up against people who know the
definition of proof and what can be relied on in proving something.

They'll give it out when it's that or they get sued instead. I've got a site
with them, I *did* read all the the terms and conditions.

But.....but.....but you said you were when I allowed you to do those
.....err..... things to me!!
I'm gonna tell my dad!!
BULLSHIT!!
If this was true then howcome there has been no announcement in WD or on the
GW websites??
Remember the 40k Compendium (the red book). On the back there is a picture
of a Harlequin troupe attacking some unsen enemy. In the middle of the pic
is a Harlequin kneeling down and carrying a Harlequin's Kiss and Nueral
Shredder.
Notice his left foot?? You cant see it becuase its hidden by foliage (ie
plants). A friend of mine, called Harlequin Master, re-created his left foot
and used the finished pic as the entry point into his (and later, my)
website.
Along comes Ragnar and leeches the picture and claims that there was no
foliage around the left foot. after many emails back and forth about it, he
then started to claim that he created the left foot and that 'Harlequin
master' and I stole the pic off his site.
Although the pic is copyrighted by GW, HM did re-create the left foot.
Ragnar stole it and this pissed HM off - especially when Ragnar started to
claim that the new work on the pic was his doing and no-one else's. Now,
Ragnar gets all his little friends and his many ficticious email accounts to
support his claim.
But Ragnar and I both know who did the work on the left foot - and his name
isnt Ragnar or Setzer!!
You also claim that I'm responsible for the attempted closure of many 40k
sites but when asked for the proof you decline to give it.
So, now's your chance - post the proof that I stole the playtest codexes and
attempted to close 40k sites down!!

Well, that was a little broad, but close enough. I bet I could find hundreds of people to hack sites for me if I
looked. Dozens will probably read this message.
