Agreed, for the most part. My appreciation of Enya is founded more on the
music itself, and I don't recall taking any conscious inspiration from the
lyrics (the connection between "Evening Falls" and part II was found after
the fact). Loreena Mckennitt's lyrics, on the other hand, I find quite
rich.
But I think the one most significant musical influence on WA was Andreas
Vollenweider's instrumental "Passionata".
