If you want to vote for the games in Spring Thing 2012, be advised
that the deadline is just four days away, next Sunday, May 6 (at 11:59
PM EDT).

Even if you haven't played any of the games yet, there still might be
time to download and play them all in order to vote.

You can find out everything you need to know at:
http://www.springthing.net/2012/

Anyone who plays the games and is willing to follow the voting rules
may vote on the games.

There have been a good ten voters already, which is not bad
considering the deadline is still a few days away. But the more voters
and the more feedback to the authors, the better!

iOS Frotz is strictly limited in what it can download from the web.
(Really, it doesn't download files at all -- it is bundled with a
fixed set of options.)

However, there are several ways to install games on it that you have
already downloaded. (You can go through FTP, or use the DropBox
service, that I know of.) See the in-app documentation.

Note that iOS Frotz only supports Glulx and Zcode games, so two of the
entries cannot be played this way.

The votes have been tallied, and the results are in:

Congratulations to Janos Honkonen, who took first place, as well as everyone else who entered Spring Thing 2012.

I will be in contact with entrants and donors shortly regarding prizes.

Hiyah

Here is a post-competition release of The Rocket Man From The Sea. The release 2 has a whole lot of bug fixes, proofreading and a new hint system.
