The London Open takes place from 28'th until 31'st December - details
at http://www.britgo.org/tournaments/2011/logc, list of participants
at http://southlondongo.com/london-open-people.html (112 registered)
My understanding is that there are only 3 Europeans at 5D+, so barring
last minute entries it seems to me that the ECup points awarded to the
top 7 European entrants may be wasted on people who are unlikely to
benefit if we don't get more strong entrants.
Likewise, we have money for youth players, but so far only 2 youths
(<18) registered.
Now then is the time to consider entering. We have extended the
period of the standard entry fee until the night of Sunday 18'th
December and hope that more will be tempted to come.
