this weekend takes place the 28th edition of the Barcelona "Go Seigen"
GO tournament.
GO tournament.
it is the last Pandanet Super tournament of the season. many strong
players will fight for the 2100 euros in cash prizes. at least board 1
will be broadcast on Pandanet IGS. hopefully there will be a wide
coverage with twitter if attendants use it (the password will be
posted on the -physical- walls).
latest news is that Catalin Taranu 5p will be attending the
tournament, providing game commentaries and other teaching events.

the winner was Du Qing, who finished undefeated.
2nd was Cornel Burzo, and 3rd Nikola Mitic. They caused many upsets on
rounds 2 and 3, which turned up in the top places not awarded to
players who learned go in Eastern Asia countries.
