Bonjour, je visite Paris jusqua 6 Avril. Ou est-ce que on joue go a Paris, et quand. J'habite pour la semaine en Montmartre, est j'ai un carnet puor le metro!

Hi, Richard,

Thanks for the pointer. Turns out that they meet there every night (!), even on Sundays. I went this evening (Friday), and there were probably five boards going. This is, apparently, their busiest night. Very nice group, very sociable and welcoming, and they accommodated my less-than-passable French. I leave early Sunday morning, so this was probably my one time this trip to play there. I'm happy I did.

I also played a blitz tournament another night at another club--Observatoire--who meet Wedesdays (I think) at a cafe near the Glaciere metro stop.

Great fun for a guy from little Victoria, Canada.

I'll miss the British Open. Sigh.

Hi Seymour,

Glad it went well. I have played in the Paris Go club many times but before when it was in another location nearby. Paris is a good place if you want to play Go. A week before and you'd have been able to play in the Paris Open with nearly 200 entrants.
