The City of London Go club meets Fridays in the Melton Mowbray public house (nearest tube Chancery Lane) from 6pm.
Although there is some music, many go players find it a congenial spot to play go and socialise with like minded souls.
We get an international crowd often French, Chinese, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Spanish speakers, Italian and of course English.
The club website is http://www.citygoplayers.org.uk/
Additionally I have placed our accounts online - for the time being at http://www.rhodamine.eu/~lcgc/ where you can see our weekly attendance (we have a board fee of £1 waived for first time visits).
We have equipment (some loaned) and space for 20 players after which we could consider finding additional premises (or meeting on other evenings) as surely a city of the size of London has the potential for hundreds of players.
If you are in London or passing through, consider paying us a visit and help us to achieve this aim.
