FWIW: (1) Soundtracks to the very TV shows and/or movies you mentioned would be the logical place to start. Indiana Jones is probably too closely identified with that character to be ported to your game, but the others probably not so much. I just purchased SCION: HERO by White wolf, because I was looking for a change from d20 Style games, don't know anyone who wants to play GURPS. ... My vote goes to the dire lance. My love of spears notwithstanding, shock pikes and fire lances seem to be built for mass troop deployment, for dozens of lesser soldiers to simultaneously strike at a single powerful enemy. One of the Chosen, on the other hand, has no need of such a vulgar strategy...... more »

Defense & Giant Swords

If one is swinging around a Grand Daiklaive, how to provide for defense? Parrying seems less good, as the sword doesn't really lend itself to that. Just being damn tough would be in theme for the character, but no Artifact armor if I get the Grand Daiklaive due to ST limits on starting Artifact dots. Charms to... more »
