Name: Terror on the Thames (2nd Running)
Organizers: The Hellfire Club
Date: President's Day Weekend, 1994
Location: Columbia Inn, Columbia, MD
Cost: $35 First Time, $30 Repeat Players

Terror on the Thames is a live-action role-playing game set in
Victorian London in 1892. The combine combines both historical
characters, such as Her Royal Majesty, Queen Victoria, and Jack the
Ripper, and fictional characters, such as Sherlock Holmes and
Edmund Blackadder, in an atmosphere reminiscent of authors
such as Conan-Doyle and Stoker. This is the second running of
the game, and the first version was very well-received.

KLAS (Keele Live Action Society)

Every two weeks for Fantasy Adventures (on Sundays)
Every week or two for Killer/Water pistol style games
(usually during the week, often more than 1 day/night)

Keele University Campus, near Stoke on Trent,
Staffordshire, England, Europe, etc

Our fantasy LRP games use our own skill based system and run
in the campus woodlands (full of streams, lakes, etc).
We have a large supply of costumes, weapons, props, pyros, etc.
The other LRP games usually take place around campus in
between going to lectures, etc! Often these are based on
films etc, eg Terminator, The Thing, Vampire, but more
traditional Killer games are played as well like
Assassins Circle and Gang Wars.

Being a student society we can afford to charge really cheap
prices. Joining KLAS costs two quid for a year.
Our Fantasy LRP adventures are free to monster and cost two
pounds to play. The average adventure lasts all afternoon.
The other Killer style games cost nothing. (Any costs for
props etc are met by the society).

NAME OF GAME Xanodria: the Living Roleplay
Run by Xanodria Productions Inc.
DATE OF GAME Every other weekend starting July 2nd and ending Oct. 8th
for a total of 8 games.
GAME LOCATION Kempton, PA. About 30 minutes West of Allentown off of US I 78
BRIEF DESCRIPTION Xanodria Productions Inc. specializes in Realism. If we
can't simulate it in a game, you won't see it in a Xanodria
game. Combat is non-hit-point based. If you're hit sans
armor, you're hit. Combat magic is simple one-word command
and bean bag or bag of flour toss depending on spell.
Ritual magic is complex and the source of many a subplot.
Our system is "Class-less" and "Skill-less." Meaning, if
you as a person can't do something, you can't do it in game
So, don't try to cut that purse unless you're sure the big
fellow won't notice... In-game skill training such as 1st
aid, alchemy, tracking, etc. is mirrored by an actual skill
that the player must perform.
If you want realism without sacrificing safety, come to
Xanodria! Costumes required but available for purchase.
Merchants/Vendors welcome.
