The Summoning - international event in the Netherlands!

Yes, this sounds a bit like The Gathering. For years, we've been saying
we wanted to do something like that in the Netherlands, and now we do.
Of course it's still very different, like the number of people (we won't
get 3000 people here :-), and we will include more plot for everyone.
I hope we will see a lot of foreign people, you're all welcome!

THE SUMMONING
Enrolment for The Summoning has opened!
The Summoning is expected to become the biggest Live Role Playing event in
the Benelux, entailing four days of excitement, political intrigue and
monsters of unknown origin!
Where/when?
The Summoning shall take place on the camping site "St. Walrick" in
Overasselt (near Nijmegen, Holland), located in the mystical world of
forests and fens. The event will commence on Saturday 13 July and last
until Tuesday 17 July.
The Summoning will be a camping event, where you will have to cook your
own meals, although meals can also be ordered in advance from the
campsite organization (details will be found in the event guide).
Costs?
Enrolment fee for this four day event will amount to Hfl. 90,- (about 35
pounds sterling). This can be payed by check or deposited on the account
below. All payments must be in Dutch Guilders!
What to expect?
On the beautiful hilly terrain various factions will set up their camps.
Riddles, political intrigue, infighting and skirmishing are rampant. You are
invited to test your skills as a warrior in the biggest LRP battle ever
to have taken place in the Benelux. Illustrious tales are told around the
campfire and in the tavern. At the trading post with its genuine log cabins
various LRP articles, such as latex weapons will be available for purchase.
Of course it's also possible to take part in adventures, which may or may
not be linked to the over-all plot.
We will endeavour to make the Summoning into an event in which LRP veterans
and new recruits will meet and entre a higher dimension. Emphasis will lies
on good role playing and, most of all, FUN! In all likelihood, Paul Wallis,
the British AD&D champion, and the Hogs of War, the winners of the British
Live Role Playing championship, will be our guests.
We also hope that other LRP organizations, from within and without The
Netherlands, will present themselves, for instance with a stand or an
adventure. Traders, who want to sell LRP items such as clothing or weapons,
are also very welcome to this event.
The language
Since this is a Dutch event, lots of people will be speaking Dutch. But
because this is an international event, the main language will be English.
All important events will be in English (or Dutch and English).
The rules will be available in English as well. Further, all Dutch people
speak English rather well, so they will always be able to understand you or
help you out.
