Description: The GURPS role playing game.

help figuring out this point total
A female character was formerly very beautiful (+16). However she was horribly disfigured (+16 to -16). She was able to get a witch to restore her beauty, but the witch was jealous and put a condition on the spell that it would last only as long as she didn't kiss her one true love (who happens to be another character). Not that up on 4e... more »

OU: The Tavori of Cytheria...
NOTE: Credit where due, the inspiration for the Tavori is the Banduch, from GURPS Aliens, though many differences exist. The TAVORI: Accepted taxonomy (as of 2090 A.D., simplified): _Animalia Chordata Vertebrata Mammalia Eutheria Multispinaria Palusiadomusia Tavora ingeniosis._ The Tavori are a species of sapients native to the planet Cytheria... more »

OE Universe 21C Setting Sidebar: Psionic Classifications...
In the late 21C, the standard set of 'casual' metrics used to assess and compare the abilities of individual psions and categories of psions is the one established by the United States Federal Patrol's Special Abilities Corps, more commonly referred to as the Patrol Espercorps. Orichalcum Universe: Home sapiens atlanticus...
It all comes down to artificial selection...or rather to semi- artificial selection. It all started, in a sense, when the Eldren led a tiny group of followers in boats made of hide and bits of wood along the retreating edge of the Arctic pack ice at the end of the last glacial period. A few hundred people arrived in the island that would one day be known... more »

What makes travelling to different quanta hard?
We all know that it's hard to travel to a world that is on a different quantum level from homeline, and impossible to travel to one that is three or more quanta away, but what makes that the case? Is it harder in a physical way, in that it's harder to climb Everest than it is to walk down Hollywood Boulevard? Is it a matter of finding co-ordinates?... more »

Aerial Combat
How do you keep track of positions during aerial combat? I'm thinking of adding the Tactical Combat rules to my campaign but that is limited to two dimensions.
