not that any of you indie-worshipping home-brew heathens care, but
wizards pushed back the release of their premium AD&D books to
july 17.  quoth the spooky wizard,

    "To keep it short, the process behind "re-mastering" the original
    materials unfortunately pushed back the release date a bit.  But
    have no fear -- I do have a date for you.  We're looking to get out
    the 1st Edition Premium Players Handbook, Monster Manual, and
    Dungeon Master's Guide on July 17th, 2012."

        Indie-loving? I still own all the older versions of D&D that I wish to
own. Plus a few retro-clones. *Plus* some digital copies. This release
doesn't really have any affect on me.

nor i, really, since i haven't been able to convince my group to shift
back several editions.  i'm more likely to sell them on a retro-clone.

between this, adventures dark & deep, myth & magic, and eventually
13th age, it's going to be an expensive several months for me.
