Silly Spells for an Insane Wizard
rgfd 1 June 2006 02:30
On the grave of "Presto" <do...@use.this> is inscribed:
>"Laminate Dead".
Heh. Should also make it waterproof, though I'm not sure what good
that would be.
>So I look to you, Interweb, to help me fill this mad wizard's spellbook with
>a handful of silly, pointless, or just bizarre spells.
Bending: bends a spoon or like item held gently between the fingertips
(this one has supposedly been invented in RL)
Hirtue: subject loses one temporary hit point.
Acid Stash: Creates 1 small piece of parchment per level. If eaten (as
a potion), each affects the user as by Hypnotic Pattern.
Defect Magic: Any flaw in the item touched glows.
Arcane Dave. Summons a teenager called Dave (Commoner 1) who scrawls
graffiti on the target, then vanishes.
Endure Elephants: provides DR 5 against all pachyderms
Protection from Orville: Subject cannot see, hear be touched or
otherwise affected by a large green puppet duck, or Keith Harris.
Obscuring Mitt: a huge woolly glove floats in the air, like a Bigby's
Hand. Being soft wool, it merely provides partial concealment, not
cover.
Ravin' Feeblemen: summons a pair of decrepit little old men (Commoner
1) who yell incoherent insults at the target.
Shocking Gasp: A sudden intake of breath makes everyone in range look
round to see what's so astonishing (stunned 1 round). Effectively area
Daze.
Disguise Shelf: disguises a small shelf and anything on it as a
picture, sconce, window or other such wall item.
Acid Marrow: creates large hallucinogenic vegetable
Really Obscure Object: creates a really obscure object
Pope Trick: As Rope Trick, but inside the extradimensional space is a
high-level cleric, or possibly a bad-tempered aardvark.
Keen Hedge: makes a row of normal bushes thorny
Acid Frog: creates a toad which oozes hallucinogens from its warts.
Make Hole: damages an object.
Speak with Deaf: allows the target to lip-read

I'll see if I can dream up some more
