A frequent request in starting up the new campaign was that it be
"challenging but not too difficult". It would seem to me that almost
nobody aims at a game that is unchallenging or too difficult, although
I suppose some hopeless situations (probably horror or post-

I'm starting a new fantasy campaign, and thus giving some thought to what
to tell players (to persuade them to join, to dissuade them if they're
not a good match, and for the benefit of eventually playing). Past
campaigns have succeeded and failed more or less by chance, and I thought

Now that I've got children old enough to talk, I'm wondering about
introducing them to roleplaying games. Does anyone else have
experience with introducing children to gaming - how old they need to
be, what adjustments might need to be made, etc?
