Hvy Plastic is designed to be the easy-going little brother in the Hvy
Metal family. It runs Hvy Metal code, on a pretty vanilla fairland map,
with game parameters set somewhere between the stock game and full Hvy
Metal. Overall, it should be less creatively cruel to players than its
big brothers. Plastic is softer than metal.
The opening of the game is tentatively scheduled for Jan 16, but that
date may well slip a bit. Test blitz opens at least a week before the
game.
We'll have a few quick updates, then settle into a regular Monday,
Wednesday and Friday schedule, with the occasional break for a holiday.
Updates will be 22:00 UTC or so.
The usual bla-bla: no deity play, unbroken countries will be disposed
of, players determine victory, the more players the merrier, may cancel
game if we don't get enough.

Hvy-Plastic - Special rules for Hvy Plastic 2
Level: Basic
Ship types are customized. Better check show for the details.
Dreadnoughts are more heavily armored. Frigates are more fragile.
More ships can carry choppers. Some ships are not ideal for this, and this is
reflected by the lack of large petrol and shell storage.
Land unit types are heavily customized. Better check show for the details.
Non-mechanized units are slower and more vulnerable, artillery firing ranges
differ, few units are light (but troop transports and landing ships can carry
non-light units).
Planes are tweaked somewhat. show is your friend.
Nukes are on sale, but nuclear plants are not. Did I mention the show com-
mand?
Infrastructure is disabled.
Fortresses cost maintenance, like capitals.
Your refineries make less petrol from each barrel of oil than usual.
Natural resources gold, oil and uran deplete much slower than usual. A 100%
gold resource contains 2500d, a 100% oil resource contains 2500o, and a 100%
uranium resource contains 500u. Fully depleting a sector will take you sev-
eral updates, and a small fraction of the resource contents will be lost.
Gold in mountains does not deplete at all.
Oil production does not depend on tech; you don't have to micro-manage to con-
serve oil.
Server time is in UTC, which means there will be no daylight savings time.
Missed updates due to server problems will be forced if caught within 15 min-
utes of planned update time or skipped otherwise.
Everything you do in this game is logged by the deities for their own nefari-
ous purposes. However, the logs are treated confidentially.
Make the deity laugh and get up to 5 gold bars.

are dropping out and not breaking sanctuary. They took a look at the
countries that are playing and ran away with their tails between their
legs. And we know which country caused that. Look, everyone knows that
Thistle is a badass, and Aquitaine (assuming its the real Aquitaine)
knows his butt from a hole in the ground. Rimfire is a player, and I
remember Bloodstar being around... but we all know they are running away
because they are afraid they might have to face me in a one-on-one fight
they know they will lose. What a bunch of cowards...
