Trouble casting Spells in Daemon's Crag

Bane has set me my first test but I'm having the devil of a time
enchanting a focus. Everytime I do it says am I using the right
candels. Well I know the Candles are right .. should I keep the
others in place unlit or remove them ... I've tried both but neither
seems to work.

Ant hints about spell casting ... I've tried 3 times now and haven't
been able to cast a single spell.
I'm using Pentagram btw and Windows XP SP3 not that i imagine it makes
a lot of difference.
