About 2 days ago, there was a red moongate, on the 2nd floor of Britains
larger library. (the one by LB's castle). It led to the library in
moonglow. Also it had 2 runes on the floor next to it, which led to the
counselors guild in Britain. Have these always been here? Am I missing
something fun?

Don't know about the red gates, but the runes on the floor happen sometimes.
There used to be a rune symbol on the ground just outside the mine cave
south of the entrance of level 3 of covetous. it went to occlo.
There used to be one in the basement of the tailor shop in vesper that went
to bucs den. Seems they were both temporary, because I used them for about
a week before they disappeared.

The red moongates in the library was put there to transport players to
the Lecture that was being given in Moonglow. It was broadcast on the
town criers shortly before.
The lectures have moved around a few shards, the only one I have
attended was on Catskills and the topic was Language.
2 Seers were there explaining the correct use of Britannian dialect and
they encoraged players to join in.
It was kinda fun for a while but I soon got bored of all the spamming
and left.
