This morning (hmmm..3:45 am local time) I was at the orc fort north of
Delucia. I have been practicing my provoking on the orcs inside the fort. I
wandered over to the crypt and saw a bone knight next to a liche. What a
notion, provoke the bone knight! The liche wasn't fooled. It opened up with
an energy bolt right away, on me. I ran.

Haven't fought a lich on the regular servers, but on TC they are vacumn
cleaners. Drop anything on the ground & they walk over the top of it
picking it up like they work for the sanitation department.

Haven't been fooling around with chests/cheap tactics much, but I will
see if you can still block a drake/dragon/daemon.

It does look like the days of cheap monster havest-undeserved fame are
coming to an end.

Last night in Hythloth we killed an regular orc and he had about 8
pairs of boots, a ringmail tunic, two axes, some arrows and bolts, and
15 ash.

We think he must have been the orcish equivelent of a PK. Killing the
other monsters when they got low on health and then looting them.

Here are some provoking tips from a Master Bard on 3 different shards.
1)Do not provoke monsters ONTO a magic caster. Always do it the
other way around. Magic users do not cast spells until they are
either struck in combat (autodefend) or are attacked (doubled left
click, or attacked by a monster\animal. Once they are attacked
they then cast at least 1 spell on their original target then move to
the new foe.

2)Do not hit or attack any monster or animal you wish to provoke.
They have a habbit of not caring about the new target and only
remember the first person to hit them or target them.

Well I know I have more tips, but I havent played my bard for a couple of
weeks and dont remember any more, oh well, if I do I will post them.

They still have to work on pathfinding - turn a corner fast, and well,
they give up.
