Are you using UOA? Yesterday I had a UOA error (tried to catch a crash but
don't remember the message box exact text) "Blah blah blah illegal
instruction, blah blah better to reboot as soon as possible". I click on ok
and poof, my computer reboots... Grrr...
At least it worked great after the reboot and still works great.

God save this and God save that. Everybody save their own sweet ass.

Files on this page have not yet been given the UOPro status.
UOAssist.exe 6/19/99 9am 64k version 1.1.9.3
UOAssist.dll 6/19/99 10am 135k version 1.10.5.5
You must get both new files for them to work together. These
files are in testing and will be changed before
official release.
A few people have reported reboots on Win98 upon exit of UOAssist. This
hasn't been reproduced here at Tugsoft or on testers machines but the above
files seem to take care of that problem as well.

See ya. More bandwidth for the rest of us. Nice graceful exit though.

That message is generated by UOAssist.

Bye, bye. You really should make sure that you are flaming the right
person. That message is more than likely from UOAssist or possibly
some anti-virus software running amok.

Are all your pets from the same species? Some pets will attack more
easily than others, the tougher they are, the more brave they'll be,
while weak ones will refuse to attack and will flee.
The exception is when they defend / protect / guard you, in this case a
chicken will try to kill a lich lord. Well, try...

It's pretty easy for me to tell that it wasn't UO--all I had to do was
search the code for that string--it's just not in our code. I see
other posters suggesting that it was UOA... are you sure you weren't
running anything else?
I'd love to see a screen door craftable!
Have it replace a wooden door/

We aren't *suggesting* it was UOA, Raph...
heheh.
I will tame 4-5 gorillas and 'all kill' a bird, maybe even feed them some
apples first. That should tell me if it is a feature or not.
I have noticed some other 'new' behaviors in the game, new to me anyway. I
tried setting off an EQ scroll inside a house and was given a message ~"You
need to wait for that spell to take effect".

I did the same thing, kinda, I did a unix "strings" command on client.exe.
Obviously, I didn't find that string in there, but I did find lots of
other neat
things.
One of the more . . . . odd things is a text string: "How many llamas do
you see?"
And in the section that has uo.cfg settings, three unusual setting names:
"CensoredBloodColor", "CensorBlood", "CensorFlesh". Hmmm, odd?
And then there's these three: "FilteredTexturing", "WaterEffects",
"NewSpellEffects". These have the feel of Pande's graphics upgrades to
them.

Damn. I knew there was going to be a test someday.
*takes shoes off*

Are these spinny purple llamas, ridable llamas, or regular llamas I
wonder.

Hee hee. :)

These are UO.CFG options, mostly for the German market, where they do
not like to have red blood or body parts in games.

OK Raph - come clean now! What is this string in there left over from?
I've never seen this before ... :-)
Cheers ...

Definitely UOA. Message even said so.
I was cutting fancy shirts at the time. Dang straight I did that macro
more than 20 times.
I love Delucia's sheep. :)
