Here's the new message on the patch server:
W E L C O M E , C H A R T E R E D I T I O N P L A Y E R S ! !
Over the next few days we will be posting on the web site and here in
the patch server message regarding scheduled downtimes, upgrade dates, and
other such information. Right now we are planning to have periodic update
times on the order of every two weeks, where we release a new patch that
updates new features. We've got several nifty features coming for the
first iteration of this process, so keep an eye out!
We will be opening the servers to the public this evening, September
24th.
We will be having scheduled downtimes every day until further
notice. The
time will be 11am for the time zone the server is in. Pacific will be down
at
11am Pacific time, Atlantic at 11am Eastern time, etc. In addition, the
scheduled downtime for the login process is 11am Central time. This
downtime
implies that all servers are closed for access.
This does not mean downtimes will happen every day! These are merely the
times that downtimes will occur if there is a patch or upgrade scheduled.

I wonder if we can use our beta version to play this if we pay the $10 a
month? Probably not, though it would be nice and would make sense for
Origin financially

Its the message you get from UOPATCH, the program that runs
immediately before the client to ensure you have the most up to
patches. It also gives you a news message before it begins the actual
patch process.

What good does it do to have the servrs open tonight when according to EA
the game didn't SHIP until today? (A day after I was promised it would
ship by EA) Who would have the game tonight?
