I just got done doing some adventuring in the cove orc fort on Great Lakes
and I noticed several things that impressed/surprised me.

First off when I got there, I spotted an orc and got ready to attack it, but
before I could, it RAN AWAY. I assumed it was simply attacking someone off
screen, but NO, it ran back about 10 paces, did some sort of arm motion, and
suddenly turned back to atack me, followed by 4 other orcs! It was
signalling!! When did orcs start doing this?

With the help of some poison spells and some well placed EB's, I finished
off all but the lone orc lord who was leading the pack, and figured I'd have
some fun and practice some spell combos on him. So I go to do the standard
para/explosion/explosion potion/Flamestrike, and he resists the Para!

So I'm thinking well just bad luck on my part, some sort of glitch, as he
steps away from the explosion, and I'm forced to hack him down with an axe.

I go further into the fort and run into a few newbies who are trying to
raise their fighters'skills. I figure what the heck and I just chill out
casting greater heals and reactive armor on them, and poisoning their
opponents. They kill a few, and I run into a couple of the Rp'ers who are
trying to start an orc group in the cove fort. Pretty humorous couple, kept
poking each other.

Anyway, pretty soon "The Murderer Dr Feelgood" shows up and tries to pull a
spell combo on me, but I manage to resist his para's! WTF? My mage only
has a 70 resist!! since when can you reist para's AT ALL, let alone with 70
Resist? Has the nerfing of mages for PvP now been completed? Not that I;m
complaining, by any means.

Anyway, has anyone else noticed that paralyze seems to be tweaked and orcs
seem to have gotten (relatively) smarter? They also seem to move a LOT
faster than they used to. I can barely outwalk them anymore, and they
continue following even when I'm a full screen and a half away.

Hmm..I had this yesterday, too...but that was because some main inet routers
didn't work and a lot of people had con losts and therefore there weren't
many people online...

I guess this was put in due to the 800x600 client..

I was on pacific server the other day fighting three Orcs.
I killed one and ran around a house to separate the other two.
It worked, as I was luring orc1 into the house orc2 was caught
behind the house by a tree. As I'm half way done killing orc1 in
the back of the house, orc2 suddenly walks around the tree,
around the side of the house, around the vender, and into the
house to attack me. Quite an IQ jump for your average orc.
I'm not complaining, It's just what happened.

As a complete newbie two months ago, the very first person who tried to
pk me the same day I created the character started with a paralyze which
I resisted... at 50 resist. Surprised him so much, I managed to recall
away. :-)
