Well I was glad to find that the hides you carve from an animal spawn on the
animal itself, not in your backpack, so people dont drop them on the ground
anymore and cause lag. But NOW, with the new patch, they're going straight
into the other direction!

I already found a huge amount of HINGES laying around on the ground in the
woods. Also a lot of other worthless s*it that came from the new "improved"
treasure on monsters.

What's this OSI? I thought you guys were fighting lag, not causing it?

I remember the time when osi took off all "useless" (in the opinion of the
players) itmes of the monster treasure, because you couldn´t sell it and all
the poeple threw them on the ground. Last night i found douzens of
vegetables and pretty strange objects in the common monster like ratmen,
trolls, orgs etc.

I agree with you, something is terrible wrong ...

Yep, and Snow Els have Iron ore on them now. Heavy, useless, and no corpse to
put it on when the elemental dies. I was hoping when they said "making changes
to the treasure on monsters" they would be moving back to putting more magic
items on monsters like it was months ago. I guess gears and squash are almost
as good as magic plate armor.

Hmm...to my ranger's (not associated with SBR) dismay even after hides
were spawned on the corpse there seemed to always be hides and meat
layin' about the woods. I don't know if it's the 'less useful' items
that are spawning on monsters now causing the renewed lag, but much of
the blame for littering is the players' fault. (generally speaking,
of course)

Whether it's hides, ribs, or that sheet of cookies I found on an orc
mage, the player has to actually go out of his way to dump the
material on the ground. If the nimrods just left it on the corpse my
ranger wouldn't have to act like an orange-vested community service
person picking up trash on the side of the freeway.

Let's see DD patch a fine for littering. :)
