About maps...

Hi!!!

I recently got 4 T-maps...

2 from mummies (LVL 1)
1 from liche (LVL 3)
1 from Balron (LVL 5)

...and have some some questions about them:

1. How much do they cost if I sold them?
2. Is the level of the map related to the quality of the magic items
found on the treasure chest or is it just a question of amount of items
found?
3. The map I got from the Balron is a 'map' not a 'tattered treasure map
for somewheer in trammel'. What does it mean? Isn't it a valid map?

It depends on the shard. They range from 1k per level to 5k per level from
what I've seen.

The latter. Vanqs will spawn in a level 1, you just get more items in a
level 5 so a greater chance of getting some decent stuff

It's from Ilshenar. The ones I have from there aren't working at the moment,
and I haven't had any joy in getting an answer from OSI about if or when
they will be fixed. Hang on to it though. I guess they have other prorities
right now, but they may well get around to it.
Or you could try paging a gm. Some people have had luck with GM's "fixing"
the maps, others get a "Im sorry, we cannot help you with this".
Consistency is not their strongest point :)

Hi!

Thanks for the info.

I am playing in Drachenfels. I have decided to complete the LVL1 maps
and leave the others for my vendors :) About the 'map'... yep, it came
from a Balron in Ilshenar... I think I'll get it on my bank box until
they do something about it :)

Level ones(and pretty much all maps these days) seem to be selling for about
10-15k on Atlantic right now..SOS bottles/maps for 20-25k....damned shame.

I'm almost thing of trying a new shard, mine's just too darn crowded..

And like dani said, you can get good stuff on level one's, just less of a
chance to get 'em. I once found a silver weapon and a power weapon on the same
level one map.

The silver was a fortified dagger of force.
The power was an accurate skinning knife.

I got a silver vanq weapon off a lvl 1 map a long time ago - a silver,
vanquishing cleaver :)

Know any undead fighting Samuri Chefs that need a weapon? ;)
