New shards

for the last two months but I am preparing for the release of UO2 now by
playing again. When I logged on today I saw the shard Yamato and I've
heard that there are more. Where exactly are these shards located? I
live in New Jersey so I play on the Catskills shard since it is one that
is relatively close to my home. It still interests me though. Thanks.

people are now just plain hording like crazy.. it a fucking madhouse..can't
find regs anywhere, peoplel are leaveing mass amounts of packhorses and
riding horses all over the towns..the lag is nuts whatthe fuck is the point
to this shit..

I believe it's a public test of the new shards. They will be wiped and
all Advance gates and such taken out. Just what I think...don't know
for sure.

Japanese Servers Up
The two new Japanese servers are now up; if you missed the post earlier,
here it is again:
According to the article on EA Japan site
http://www.japan.ea.com/archive/uo/findex.html, public server test will
be held
for the two new Japan servers, Asuka and Yamato, from Friday 9/25
10:00 pm (CST) . A special server test event
related to Shadow Lord is also planned, starting from 9/26 7am
(CST) .
Personally cannot imagine fighting against Shadow Lords with 1/2
day old characters...will be interesting to see how
the event does turn out.
