Snooping while hidden?

According to the Origin site using snooping while hidden should no
longer unhide you. Well, when I tried a few minutes ago, it still
does. So what is going on? Origin couldn't be *gasps* lying to us
could they??

I think you stay hidden only on total success (successful snooping
without being noticed)

This is incorrect. I have tried snooping for 2 days in various places
with my GM Snooper and have *always* been revealed.

It is a crock. I also have a GM Snooper and I have yet to stay hidden
while snooping, in say over 40 or so attempts. So I imagine it is yet
another stream of BS from OSI.

Not to mention all these crashes and problems, the patch from hell
strikes again I guess...

Nope. The direct quote from Origin's page is as follows: under 'Other
Changes'

'The following skills will not unhide you when they are used:
Snooping, Detect Hidden, Item Identification, Anatomy, Arms Lore,
Animal Lore, Evaluate Intellect, Forensics Evaluation, and Poisoning.
'

and indeed it is true for all the other skills listed, but not
snooping. Hmmm...

Anyone else notice that dispite all their "hard line" takeing on macroing, most
of these skills are relatively easy to macro, and help build/maintain stats.
So all you macro-ers out there in TV land, just hide first is the answer they
give ya.
