Well I traveled from stable to stable trying to find a stable
master/animal tamer that was selling horses for less than 2500 gold and
could not find one at all. Personally I find it disgusting that horses,
pack horses and pack llamas were all 2500 gold. Everywhere.
I paged a GM on this "bug" because I figured that the prices were wrong
on this shard by mistake. The answer I got back was "this is the price
here, it is not a bug, nothing is wrong".
Of course now the umm... new stable master on the NE side of Britain
sells pack horses and llamas for the regular 700ish gold pieces.
Dont ask.

The thing I find really surprising about every level of UO
support is their total unwillingness to take responsibility for
anything. If something is fucked up, it's really not, then it gets
changed quietly. And if they don't feel like changing it, then they
just claim it was a feature. Or if something *really* messed up
happens it's entirely the customer's fault. You'd think for the
amount of money we pay they could at least admit to problems once in
awhile.

LOL!
I can see it now...
"2500 gold?! You're fired!"
New guy: "Would 700 gold be too much? How about 50 gold? Uhm, I
mean... er... HERE! Just take it! Take all you want!"

I have seen an inflatable, anatomically correct sheep. :-) It's not mine,
really.
Put inflatable llamas in the game and we'll talk.

-You slip into your secret underwear, you get on over to the dark side of your
mind...
Yep. Poor old Eartha the animal tamer and Jimmy Hoffa now play cards
together.
Jacques.
I would have.. had I upgraded to t2a. At this point I have not, so I am
stuck with the old world and old world prices =)
As they say.. necessity is the mother of invention.

i've found the taming skill to be pretty useful, horses are a dime a
dozen if you go to the new lands. they're everywhere, if i have some
time to kill i go out east of delucia and it usually takes me 5 or 10
minutes to find a horse, recall/ride to a town and sell it for 500.
you can buy taming up to 25-30 then tame a bunch of sheep and you
should be taming horses in no time. takes 31 or so to tame a horse.
