What's a good way to kill macroers in town?

The other day I was attacked by a gang that came out of hiding and ran into
my blades. I easily escaped and copied their names into my enemies list.
Today I noticed one of them in the inn, macroing. So I got my second
character out and gave him enough regs to cast a few poison fields. She got
down to all the way red before -- she vanished. I'm not sure if she timed
out or if she came back and noticed she was almost dead. I'm hoping she
timed out so when she logs on she will be unprepared. Now my question is,
was that a proper way to treat a lady? No not that question. Will poison
field actually kill a person in town? Is there a better way?

When I kill macroers I just use the poison spell. Poison field is a
little chancy 'cause another pc or an npc could walk through it.
The poison spell can have the same effects as weak poison up to
greater poison. I don't know how it's determined what strength poison
you get; one of my accomplices regularly gets greater poison, while I
usually get normal poison or so, even though I have higher magery.

An Assasin with a Deadly poisoned newbie dagger, works well. Even got a
guard to boot.

Attack,
Die,
Wait
Resurrect
Wait for person and/or guard to die
Loot (optional)

Note: 99 Dex, 78 in poisoning, 85 in tactic+fenching helps

If the person is in town, but in a remote area and doesnt have the
"Guards" in the macro you can just attack them outright. There was a
fisherman that had a few hundred fish by the inn in vesper that was
lagging me out when I was trying to switch some things between players.
I brought in my master fencer and went to work on him without a problem.

If you find an invisible macroer all you need to do is stand by them and
prime an explosion potion. They will autodefend and come out of hiding.

Note - the above situation I was actually kind of funny. In town you
see a naked man with a kryss fighting a person with a fishing pole that
is continues to fish.

In article <6sfqsn$7ua$2...@news-1.news.gte.net>,

I don't macro but find this whole idea somewhat chickenshit. Attacking a
person when they are basically helpless and can't defend themselves is about
as low as it gets. Granted, anyone stupid enough to macro in town deserves
what they get but go find someone who is at least conscious.

I agree with you Ed. I just did it this one time because the lag caused
by several hundred fish (this is before they stacked) was unreal.

I reserve this punishment for someone I know to be an ass, and for
anyone stupid enough to macro playing an instrument for the dex gains.
