This is more of a pvp related issue...

How do people deal with the stamina loss from spells and other weapon hits?
I often fight people who don't carry total refresh potions. I know that
after a
little fighting, my stamina becomes really low. The other night I had an
explosion-ebolt combo essentially drain 80 points of my stamina.. I could
hardly move..

What I'm wondering is how can so many of my opponents not be drinking
refresh potions and still be blinking around my screen?

Also, does anyone know exactly how Inta hits work? Do you need to have
a certain amount of dexterity or stamina?

When I fight, I usually carry 5-8 refresh potions and I use ALOT...

They riding horses? I hear that that horses have "unlimited" stamina, or
something like that, which the PvPers don't like at all. ;-)

I've run my horse out of stamina.. it's hard to do though... but I
wasn't talking about horses
here.. This is your stamina.. not the stamina of the horse, which, to
my knowledge, you have
no way of seeing what it is.. except anatomy.. but that's not what I'm
asking about..

Movement speed isn't affected (until you hit 0 stamina) by stamina,
right? It affects your swing rate, but not movement speed.

Isn't the blinking around your screen due to their connection and
computer speed? Most pvpers have very good conns, or rather, if you
have a great conn you tend to pvp more.

I've heard it's ~85 dex (I think it's dex, after modification by armor
penalties is factored in, not stamina - ie if your stamina drops you
still get insta hits) to get insta-hits, but I also heard 75. I haven't
tested it, but I've been using 85.

LOL potion chugger ;)

Lots of pvpers who equip well hear that from folks who don't equip well,
as if equiping well is somehow wrong - kids these days ;)
"Professional" PvPers genreally carry a lot of potions and chug em
constantly, many carry ~20 or so of each main type (gcure, gheal,
totref), and maybe a third as many of the others (gstr, gagil).

thanks.. yeah, I've seen people spouting off with the "potion chugger"
insults..
although I've won alot of fights due to having potions.. when I'm in a
fight with
another dexer and niether of us can really get an advantage, I've found the
GStr & GDex potions will tip the balance.

They work well against mages too.. but I lose to mages as much as I
win.. I just
take way too much damage from x-e combos... even GM resist isn't helping
alot.

Horses have limited stamina, but with training that limit rises. (Run
them fast and often, feed them regularly.)
