It's been my experience with respect to Time Warner specifically and
cable companies in general that they will do precisely what the hell
they want to do and to hell with what their customers want.

As consumers we cannot muster enough of a consensus to effect a change
in a damned thing.

If we could, gasoline would cost a quarter a gallon again!

Got that right. Besides, there are too many well run free or nearly
free Usenet servers out there as long as you only want text groups.
