Lately, half the people running around Brit. bank
were wearing sandals or selling them with exorbitant
prices... What's going on here? Are the sandals make you
immune to magic or something? I had like a crateful of them
before the limit items patch, I could have make millions
with the prices they are asking now...

There have been a recent rash of NPC shop keeper killings for their colored
sandals. That is why you see so many <invunerable> ones now.

I would guess it is a combination of bless deeds and drying up the source
that is driving up the prices.

But... on TC they are starting to have certain escorts with colored sandals.
Market may collapse.

This is just the latest craze going around. Colored sandals are all the
rage, and are seen at all the fashionable parties.

This is so ludicrous! How many of you think this got started
by the RL wives of all those tank mages who has to go to work
during the daytime? They probably formed a first wives club
and use their husbands tankmages to kamikaze the NPC in town
to get to the color sandals.

Another big irritant was that once an NPC mage in the mage shops would
be killed, sometimes a new one wouldn't respawn, so you'd end up with a
dead store with no one around to help you. Damn NPC killers. I hope they
needed regs afterwards...
