Final Doom - I'm stuck

wal*mart for 10 bucks. At least all the drivers are updated...no complaints!
BUT........I'm stuck in level 2, if you can imagine that. Well of
Souls....stuck up there on the ledge. I kill everything but there's nowhere
to go. I jump down and use the transporters and it takes me back to the top
every time. There's no way out....or so it seems!
Can anyone help? (Silly question, I know)

I assuming that you have the yellow and red keys, yes?
And you are talking about the huge chasm towards end.
There is an invisible bridge across.
And the markers on the your side are the box of shells and on the other side
are 2 rocket shells.
But for better markers... look to your left.
There should be a computer panel embedded in rock on left. Shoot a bullet
into that.
Now relook at ledge on your side and other side. A pair of posts should have
arisen on both sides.
Get between them, aim for posts on far side, ..., and walk across to other
posts
Only the Doom faithful will make it to the other side :-)

WHAT?!? Invisible bridge? I would have never figured this out and I've been
banging around on Doom and Doom 2 for years. I will go try it now.

Simple once you know the secret. One try...that was it. I shot at that
imbedded computer a few times on past attempts but I guess I wasn't hitting
it right. Not that it would of helped any...hehe.
I see that invisible bridges are going to be common in this game cause the
next level has one also, I found out.
