I really like 10..Nd7 played by WCHESS, steering its knight towards
the e5 square. That's a move a computer wouldn't typically play
(but a person would).

Seems like Alterman caused most of his problems in this game with
16 g4 which opened up his king. How well is he versed in how
not to play against a computer?

WCHESS is a NOVAG product, so you should get Kittingers latest creation from
them, but any good sorted chess-shop should have it too. In Germany it costs
135-149 DM. This price is far below Hiracs3, Genius3 and MCHESS4. So it should
be quite affordable...And it plays like hell...

You can get WChess from ICD; 21 Walt Whitman Road (Route 110); Huntington
Station, NY 11746. 10800-645-4710, or 1-516-424-3300. However, it's
expensive - about $150.

Say what? When did WCHESS get an Elo rating?

The "Elo" ratings given for WCHESS and GM Alterman are the Internet
Chess Club ratings, and are based only on games played on ICC. They
are not related in any way to FIDE or other ratings.

Sorry for any confusion on the ratings.
