Carlsen pointed out something unusual. The Tal Memorial is taking place in Moscow but none of the three home (Russian) players had yet to win a game and round 5 has just gone.

What's unusual about that?
Unusual would have been if none of them had won a game yet.

A note from a friend in Budapest

Dear Chessfriends,

It was my great pleasure to learn about the events of the TAL memorial. After 4.rounds Nakamura (USA) is leading by 3/4 points. He won both BLACK games of him (against Kramnik and Caruana). Of the 20 games been played BLACK won 6, White 3,while 11 games were drawn.
BLACK is (more than) OK!

What more should I say? BLACK is OK!

Good night! AA
