Today as I promised last year (Dec 2009) that I will be giving good
news about GetClub, As I have a few ideas to improve GetClub Chess.
I used 80% of my new ideas and now GetClub plays 3-4 times stronger
moves.
GetClub now finds same moves by thinking in "4 times" less time. Here
is a sample game played against Jester.
Jester at [30 sec / move] Vs Baby Level at [2 sec / move].
The game was a good fight. GetClub got its queen trapped by knight &
bishop. There was no way to escape from the trap. This game was played
very nicely by GetClub. Despite being Queen down it tried to protect
itself till 45th move.

=====================
Do you feel now GetClub playing very strong moves?
I have a few more ideas that will make GetClub even more stronger.
I hope I am able to improve GetClub Chess a bit more with the new
ideas.
Now Baby Level will give tough competition to Strong players.
I have doubt if "Help Bot" & "Taylor Kingston" are able to defeat the
Baby level [2 sec/move] or not.
Where is Help Bot. I am missing his games at GetClub Chess.
Please analyze this game and let me know how to improve GetClub game
further, So that it avoids the Traps Just like the Queen trap in the
above game.
Bye
Sanny
I have analyzed this game with Baby Level. But I want it analyzed by
stronger engines as well Like: Fritz/ Rybka

Then, why don't you do it?
mfg, simon .... l
I will soon, I played a game between Easy Level and Fritz[5 sec /
move] and Fritz won in 20 moves only.
I have corrected the problem of posting wrong moves.
Now, When a move is posted twice. It will disconnect your game So that
you restart the game and the game is recorded properly.
Why it happens in your game that a Move is recorded twice.
Are you playing 2 instances of the same program on your computer. Are
you doing some experiments?
I find games of others are recorded correctly. It happens only on your
system.
I hope the problem is partially solved as now the game will be
disconnected when a move is recorded twice.
Play a game with Rybka Let me know how Rybka [1 sec / move] plays
against the Easy Level?

No, your applet talks to your server via http get operations on every
move. When the server doesn't like the move, it answers "error" and your
applet somehow deals with that.

No, I start Getclub the regular quirky way. It's your applet that sends
some moves twice.

How do you know that?
mfg, simon .... l
I think, now you are not facing this problem. Now you can complete the
game without errors.
Are you still facing problems in playing at GetClub Chess?

Of course. It just ends the game, when it is supposed to be winning, it
sometimes lamely gives up on the last instant, there are no real timing
constraints, no chance to do automatic interengine-play, and the ugly
website keeps popping up new windows, when one should be enough.
The most annoying pop-up is the last one, it's totally irrelevant to the
game, which shows up on the previous window. That actually took me some
time to notice.
