The two choices are 2S and 3S. I think this hand is not good enough
for 3S so I bid 2.

2S seems simple enough. Just because I have 6 spades is not reason
enough to jump to 3S.

I hate overcalling on these hands, but I have little choice. Switch
hearts and clubs I'll bid 3 Spades, but the murky lead situation makes
me bid 2S.

2S. This hand has a nice 6-card suit, plus
9 quality and 7 funky HCP. I'll go slowly.

2S. Not good enough for a 3S strong jump.

1. 3S - jump over preempt = GOOD.

2. 2S - second choice.

2S. Clear. Your heart honors aren't pulling their full weight.

2S looks canonical.

Normally I am reluctant to answer such questions here, as I am a much
weaker player than most of the participants. But this time I have no
doubt: I bid 2S. If I am not allowed to bid 2S, I bid 3S.
