There's nothing arrogant about admitting that there are a large number of c= lub players who come to have a "game". They haven't the slightest intention= of ever trying to improve their bridge, and they don't care when they lose= . Almost all of the ones who do care, don't mind if players play unusual s= ystems and are capable of coping with it. They typically feel that (a) if t= hey have problems with it, so do all the other people in their direction, s= o it costs nothing; and (b) the opponents frequently don't know their syste= m as well as they think they do.
