First, you don't switch half the boards or anything like it. Your aim is for one-eighth.
Second, if you hypothetically set the movement that you described up properly in ACBLScore, it would work just fine. (although ACBLScore might have a problem with more than 25 rounds).
Third, usually you switch whole rounds of boards.
