Elsie's son Evan showed up tonight for the first time.
He played fine. Overall, we wrestled with tons of lousy
racks. I skipped three times in one 10-turn game. Once
again, no 9-letter words. But somehow we averaged a half
decent 29.7 points per turn.
One game had 18 E and no F or B. Another game had 12 O,
5 M, and 5 Y. Every game is fresh and different!
Hey, folks, it shouldn't take so much work trying get a
little dialog going on Scrabble II vs. "classic" Scrabble -
"classic" in quotes because the modern game drowning in
silly little 2- and 3-letter words nobody's ever used in
his life can't possibly be what the inventors had in mind.
Scrabble II is to "classic" Scrabble as a Thanksgiving
meal is to stale crackers. What's more exciting - JO, QI,
XU, and ZA game after game after game (snore) . . . or the
nice, fresh, juicy words you see below? Try it and come
