Thanks for your links, they were interesting.

There was a game which I played a while back called "Careers". It's a
bit like Game of Life but focused more on money. Is it still in print?

It doesn't currently appear to be in Hasbro's catalog. They do have
2 versions of the rules online as PDF downloads though.

it should be pretty easy to find a second-hand one
I see them all the time at used-clothing etc stores
pretty sure I've seen first-hand ones still in stock at non-chain stores

I checked my local Salvation Army store, they don't have it. Will have
to look harder...

One board game I wish they reprinted was a game made in the late 60's
called Consensus, which was an election game where the players try to
win states for their electoral votes, and is the rare board game that
does require cards, dice or money. I have a copy I picked up on Ebay
for about 120 bucks, and whenever I play it with people they love the
game.
