Looking back, I believe I was unnecessarily harsh on various fellow designers, especially Christian Freeling, Corey Clark, and Luis Bolanos Mures. Now I'm about done with designing abstract games, though I'm still observing the progress of my existing games and new developments of others, and I want to make amends. Christian is the most famous organic game designer in the world and deserves the most respect, I believe.

So, I guess I'm kind of apologizing, though not to everyone I've tussled with here. I have no regrets about colossal oaf, Bill Taylor, nincompoop extraordinaire, Hazen, or any of the other coattail riding buffoons that have graced rga with their inanity.

So what was your first clue?

Now I'm about done with designing abstract games, though I'm still observing the progress of my existing games and new developments of others, and I want to make amends. Christian is the most famous organic game designer in the world and deserves the most respect, I believe.
Don't overdo it. And you may be done with abstract games, but the reverse may not be the case. There's this secret hiding in full view, yet understood by few: abstract games have a mind of their own.

To be fair, I must admit that lately I've been driven to a sharper insight in the nature of your frustrations.

Hi Markrappy,

I told that Ayu is a great game.
Here is what your "most famous organic game designer in the world" think about it.
Christian Freeling is not even a game designer in my point of view because he did not invent something really new.
Luis Bolanos Mures will be a big game designer in the next 10 years assuming that he stays on the path of game designing.

Anyway, I think that Mures has to change slightly the Ayu game rules to make history.
Markrappy you are not looking back. No one believe you anymore. All your games are copy-pasted. I will prove it.

I`m moving to Europe.

Bye crappy game designer.

Mark, I haven't been on here in forever but I'd like to say I appreciate the apology and would like to in kind apologize for some of my behavior towards you in the past. I feel like we get along with each other better than we do anyone else in this community, which is odd. I think some of the stuff we've said would be enough to put some people on permanently bad terms with eachother but somehow we always shrug it off and that shows we ultimately have good repport with each other.

However this thread also brings to mind another issue entirely. Christian's outstanding apology for lampooning me in his dreadfully derivitive game Turd the spirit of which somehow lives on in Monkey Queen and the less popular Cyclix. And I will wait on that with baited breath right now.
