My name is Ray Gordon. I am the author of "Price And Probability,"
the most comprehensive book on "value handicapping" ever written.
Specifically, the book debuts a "conversion equation" that allows one
to convert a speed-figure or power rating into a morning-line
probability, using the equation covered in the book. This is no
different from converting an NFL pointspread into a money-line, as
there is a fixed relationship.
Because I ran afoul of one of PaceAdvantage's "authorized
advertisers" (people who can market their products without it being
called SPAM), I found myself BANNED fromt his forum, along with any
mention of my products, which users of this website would not know
exist if they relied on this supposedly "helpful resource" for their
recommendations. Apparently, the site's owner does not think the
public can think for itself, and separate the good from the bad, and
hides my existence "for its own good."
The question that caused the rift? I asked a sponsor how much he had
made betting last year. He first responded with "$300,000.00," but
when I asked if the IRS could verify this, his post was quickly
deleted. He is also a rebate player who is from the "money
management" school that does not teach handicapping, so much as
mindgames designed to get you to think you are increasing your
advantage.
Have you ever turned $20.00 into $8,000.00 at the track in TWO weeks?
I have. Have you ever hit EIGHT "signers" in a similar time frame? I
have. Not only that, but I can PROVE it, since scans of the W-2G
forms appear on my website. We are not "documented" by some bullshit
"monitoring service." Instead, we are:
DOCUMENTED BY THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE.
Our wins, without rebates, are a matter of public record. A quick
review of the W-2G forms on our site will explain to the reader why he
will find it impossible to wager on p3s, superfectas, or even
trifectas with offshore outlets (every time they take them, one of my
readers will destory the bookie). Try getting a rebate at
Philadelphia Park and see how well that goes. If you do manage
either, it means they have no respect for you, or know you are not one
of my "people."
PAP is much more than the conversion equation. We have used it to
bump our ROI well over $1.00, without rebates, into territory closer
to $1.20-1.30 for the entire year. For January, my ROI was a
ridiculous $2.19 for one dollar bet, which means if you picked 100
percent winners at $4.20, you still couldn't keep up. The one thing
the PAP book does not have is an explanation of the method, becuase
others would just steal it, and tap distirbution lists, like this one,
which are segregated from me. Our PAP sheets, however, include our
selections and power ratings, and are often made available free.
Here's a sampling of some of our recent free winners:
Big Brown (2-1, Kentucky Derby Romp)
Cold superfecta in the 2008 Preakness ($2k+)
SLAMBINO (88-1 winner, listed on top, with a 7-horse key that hit a
$1.6 million super)
In past years, we had War Emblem (20-1), Sarava (70-1), and, in
another post that got me banned from PaceAdvantage, I noted that
Bernardini (12-1) "looks like a nuclear weapon" on the day of the
Preakness. A similarly improving, lightly-raced animal, Summer Bird
(11-1) was my pick in this year's Belmont, in which a 12-combination
ticket also nailed the tri and super, for over $1k in returns.
On the downside, we picked Quality Road to win the Derby in Pool 2 of
the futures at 14-1, but his hooves did not hold up.
I write this notice to inform the public that, despite all this, the
boy at PaceAdvantage thinks you don't need to hear my point of view or
see my work. See, he wants to give you information that helps you
win, like its existing sponsors on the site. Besides, if I could win
money like that, why would I need to sell info? I could just get rich
betting my own....oh yeah. I am. Good luck with those "authorized
advertisers."

Price And Probability
Thank goodness that Barbaro broke down, eh?
IT was old the first nine times it was posted and it is OLD today.
There are no secrets in this game only hard work
It's an ongoing concern. Those who land on a CENSORED message board
obviously won't be made privy to the information, so I can do that
here.
Any site that claims to want to help its users win should explain
exactly why it's keeping one of the winningest horseplayers in the US
off the site.
Now if the goal is to have a happy little social club, or toprotect
advertisers who don't post IRS proof of their wins, that's fine, but
at least come clean.
This message will be reposted until addressed by PaceAdvantage, so you
better get used to it.
At the end of the day, your tantrums don't mean very much, but thanks
for thorwing one.
Maybe you're just another racetrack LOSER who is jealous of those who
figured out how to win. Been dealing with those types forever. Hope
you find a clue one day, or did those "authorized advertisers" let you
down?
Cool! Another Bernardini/Barbaro debate!
Yes, having four working legs helped Bernardini a lot. Maybe his
later career beginning had something to do with that, just like with
Mine That Bird not revving up until three.
Your papa Center City Sam is rolling over in his grave.
Stop being stupid. "Authorized Advertisers" kick back...
Which explains why they prefer censored environments.
Where are THEIR IRS jackpot forms?
The IRS pays "bounties" for reporting tax evaders (with proof). Give it
a shot!
