Yoshiko-san,

I'd like to come into work today, so if you have anything to work on, please
be sure to assign it to me.

Thanks.

Your version of taking the high road has you coming off like a know it all
pompous ass. When I see a know it all pompous ass taking the high road do
something as fucking stupid as sending a private email to a public usenet

Oh there you are again Alan. I thought you quit RGP but you still make
the occasional post I see. That's good.

Actually, it's funny, because I thought you might have been a little
disappointed by the (non)reaction of certain posters when you
announced your "Hi Everyone, I'm back", "Did I miss anything?" thread.

I feigned ignorance of that (shortly before you sent me an email) but
why wouldn't I?

Personally, it stopped feeling natural me being friendly with you. I'm
sure you'll understand.

He's a wacko, now? I thought he was your new BFF? You guys change with
the wind. I thought it was really cute (in a man-crush sort of way) how
you went running to him breathlessly on that pathetic circle jerk of an

How am I feeling, you mean physically? Because a full answer would take
volumes and I'm not sure I could even answer, as I feel different almost
every day. Physically though I feel great, better than I have in my life
than I can ever remember. I'm told that it takes a full 90 days for all
of the alcohol to leave your system, and today is day 79, so I'm almost
there.

I may be dense, but I don't get how that relates to me.

I tried to watch the video, really I did, but the song was so crappy I
couldn't handle the whole thing. Not sure why you thought of me when you
saw it, maybe because you knew I'd say I hated the song?

I doubt that, but a 3 month span is a good focus for alcos to stop
drinking and to give the body a chance to heal.

Ffffurk, you are mistaking drunk with drunk driver. I've known
several heavy drinkers who never drove drunk. And I've known others
that had no problem driving safely while influenced. The guy driving
in that video was simply driving recklessly, and probably wasn't drunk
either.

I read a book recently, "Big Sur" by Jack Kerouac. Made me think of
Brew. Don't know if he'd like it or not, though. Kerouac is an
aquired taste. Probably most RGPers would hate it. It is a little
poignant in that Kerouac died just a few years after writing that book
due to complications due to alcohol.

The guy driving in the video was making a video, it probably took a
thousand takes.

I like the song (Northern Irish band) and the video. A video that
probably took take a 'thousand' takes to get right, i.e. the bike
never stops moving, some early morning(s) through the streets of Paris
thirty or fourty years ago.

A song about no obstacles, a song about love, a song about having
someone you so insatiably want to be with. Whatever. It's just a song.

Love isn't about obsession

Love is about being amazingly happy with someone.
Occasionally,. its about needing someone to be happy badly enough to
sacrifice yourself for them.
Yes, it isn't always rational

You appear confused pickass. I appreciate that you are probably going
through a period of denial because like or loathe me, I am one of the
more interesting posters around here.

Do you know when I posted a picture of the amount of times my posts
had been viewed to ramashiva when he was insisting that I was marginal
and irrelevant and he had ten times the readership I do, the number of
times my posts were viewed was around 500 in that screen grab but only
a few days later the number was over 2,200? I saved a picture of that
too (just in case ramashiva wanted to fuck with me again).

So it must suck for you that you can't read my posts anymore, much
less respond to them. I'm sorry, but you have no one to blame but
yourself.

It's funny you mention Dylan.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKkp8R35l2g

See that guy on the left? That's Allen Ginsburg, who with his buddy
Jack Kerouac defined the literature of the "Beat" generation, and led
eventually to the kind of lyrics Dylan wrote. There's a strong
connection between Dylan and Kerouac. The song is "Subterranean
Homesick Blues". Kerouac wrote a book called "The Subterraneans". Is
it a coincidence Ginsburg is in the video? I think not.

I don't like to preach, Ffffurk, but maybe YOU should read Big Sur.

And read up on how these two men died:

No more preaching from me.

That's a great song. You know what I remeber most about "Subterranean
Homesick Blues" otter? When I was a kid my best friend's older brother
was in a band of sorts, really into music he was. One day myself and
this best friend of mine wrote down the lyrics of "Subterranean
Homesick Blues" and when his older brother got home we presented them
to him as if it was a song we had been working on all day.

So, he's starts reading the lyrics and as he is, he's contantly
looking up at us (we're like 12 or 13 years old) and when he finishes
reading, he puts the paper down, looks at us in admiration and says
something to us like "Fuck me, these lyrics are the shit!". lol That
was funny. He obviously wasn't much of a Dylan fan.

I don't know what sort of homosexual nonsense you're into now, nor do I
care. The dealbreaker for being my friend should be the fact that I hate
your guts. When I say you I mean Beldin, Chris, or whatever other
personalities you think you have that are all the same needy, worthless
asshole that I hate.

Dude, you killfiled me.
Yeah, I know, you didn't really, but if you saw this, then you know the
reference is to "Fuck XaQ"

Which means I'm stating I am NOT into homosexual stuff, not that anyone else
should care.

As for your other comment : I don't stop being your friend because you got
mad at me for something I didn't actually do.
Apart from being grossly wrong on that topic, you still have all the
qualities I liked about you before. While I am very sorry you've decided to
marry this incorrect interpretation and use it to justify hating my guts,
I'm not gong to ignore all your good qualities because of it.

Yes, you hate me. I accept it.I don't like it, but there are loads of things
in life I don't like.
I still like you, even though you're being incredibly dumb in this
particular aspect of your life.

If you need me to hate you to feel better about this, I'm sorry, it's not
going to happen.
I don't hate anyone here. Several I feel really sorry for, like Peepee.

You, I still like. You've shown poor judgement occasionally, as we all have,
but you haven't done anything to erase your good qualities.

One more time : you've made your feelings clear. I accept they won't change.
You accept mine won't change either. Or don't, if you want to be pig-headed,
but that's the fact.

You don't have to give him a reach around if you don't want to. Then his
penis won't even come into play.

I don't see how that matters. Even if you were doing a woman, you'd know
Jason has a penis.

Jason, Xaq, what's the difference? How close does a man's penis have to be
to you before you lose the ability to perform?

Not "The ability"
"The desire"
